We got a little more sleep on the flight to Tel Aviv. It was another very large airport. We cleared immigration and were happy to see
that our luggage had made it. Going
through customs was uneventful and we linked up with our tour guide,
“David”. He had picked up one other
woman who had been on the same flight as us.
We drove about 30 minutes through fairly congested traffic to get
downtown to our hotel. We didn’t get
checked in until 5:45, which was just in time to wash up and meet the rest of
the group for our first ‘orientation’ at 6PM.
There are only 8 of us.
We walked about 20 minutes down to the sea shore and had a
very nice dinner before walking back to the hotel. We needed the exercise and I’m thinking that
we’ll all probably gain several pounds in the next two weeks.
