We’re off on our first real ‘trip’ with the camper. Our plan is to spend almost two weeks
exploring and discovering South Dakota.
We’re trying take on all of the
states…. One at a time. We left home
right around noon and headed to Ellen’s sister’s place (Arlene & Mark) in
Winona, WI for a visit that’s half way to South Dakota.

We got to Winona about 4:30PM, which was just in time for
some crackers & cheese and then off to church at the Cathedral in
Winona. Mark has had to host us because
Arlene has been gone all day at a 125th anniversary celebration for
their church. She might be back home
later tonight.

We’re now back at the
house for some card games with Mark & Arlene’s grandkids and plan to get an
early start to cross Minnesota tomorrow.
We’re planning to stop near Melvin, IA to see the dairy operation we
were developing and also the old farmhouse that we bought and fixed up.
